The Rappahannock Council Against Sexual Assault is seeking licensed therapists, case managers, and crisis responders to work with survivors of sexual assault/abuse and other traumatic crimes. Licensed Therapist Positions: Required: Licensed in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) Preferred: Board Certification in Art Therapy or other expressive therapy field, two years of experience, Experience in Expressive Therapy, CBT, CPT, ITR These positions are part-time contract with the potential for more hours. The Wendt Center for Loss and Healing is hosting its annual grief camp, Camp Forget-Me-Not/Camp Erin DC, for children (ages 6-16) who have experienced a death related loss. Therapuetic Art is a key component of camp. This is a fantastic and rewarding opportunity to support grieving children and teenagers. We are currently seeking an art therapist to be a part of this year’s Mental Health team.
*Camp weekend is July 31-August 2, 2009 – This is an overnight camp.
*Camp is held at Arlington Echo Educational Center in Millersville, MD
*This is a Volunteer commitment.
*High energy, flexibility and experience working with young
people is necessary.
*Food, lodging and lots of support provided.
*Structured groups have already been developed and designed,
supplies have
been purchased.
*Responsible for facilitating groups throughout the weekend and organizing
all materials for grief groups.
